Kim Sellers E-RYT500 and Sagewater Yoga are located in South Bend, Indiana, a few miles from Michigan and the big lake, and not far from Chicago. Offerings include private and semi-private yoga lessons, group classes, Reiki sessions and classes, Thai Yoga Bodywork, and Yoga Teacher-Training.

Since she started teaching Yoga in 1998, Kim has completed six teacher-trainings, taught over 8,000 Yoga classes and workshops, led Yoga retreats in Michigan and Indiana, and has trained over 60 area Yoga teachers and Yoga studio owners in both 200 and 500 hour Yoga Alliance programs. Her classes are infused with patience, presence, spirituality, and humor; and combine both active and quiet practices with Yoga therapeutics and teachings. Kim is listed on Judith Hanson Lasater's website Restorativeyogateachers.com, and she is the founder and director of Yoga for Your Life Teacher-Trainings in Mishawaka, IN.

Yoga Teacher-Training in the South Bend area:

200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Sept. 2014: "Yoga For Your Life" Yoga Alliance registered200-hour program. Click on button at left to go to the school's website. Faculty includes Kim Sellers, Kathleen Flanagan, Jamie Robinson, Karen Sommers, Ann Clark, Indra Majhika, Jeff Nixa, Barb Coleman, and others. You can see the curriculum and there is a downloadable application.

500-hour Yoga Therapeutics Teacher-Training (300 additional hours) starts September 2014. Program focus is on Yoga Therapeutics and Teacher Development, and includes in-depth anatomy & physiology; philosophy & ethical considerations; therapeutic techniques and teaching methodologies including asana, pranayama, Ayurveda, Restorative Yoga, mudras, philosophy, and their application in teaching students with injuries, illness, and other special considerations.
